Limited seats, Unlimited expectations

Who doesn’t want to study in one of the top schools? Who doesn’t want to secure admission to the top Universities and Colleges or secure a job at any leading MNC?
Everyone wants to.
But is it possible for everyone to achieve what they want? Obviously not, as the opportunities are limited but the expectants are vast. So, as everyone wants to go for the best, or the good, there will be competition for the limited no of seats available. And as the population is on the rise, so is the competition.

So should common people give up their dreams due to the limited chances of getting through?
Obviously not. They must never stop trying. One must always keep polishing their skills and try to be better than the rest of the crowd.
There must also be some competition. A healthy competition is important for people to improve themselves. Without any competition, there will bw no improvement amongst the people.

So how can we achieve a seat among the limited seats that are available and which are aspired by many?
The simple answer is to try hard, stand apart from the crowd and polish your skills.
Also learn to take criticism in a positive way. Everything is good when it is given in the right proportion, be it competition or hunger for more. These are not different but as long as it does not turn into jealousy or wars but honestly to succeed in life, one must learn more skills, earn a reputation by carving a niche for them.
And how does it help you?
Because when you take your competition with people that are maybe less superior than you, even when you win, you are not really improving yourself.
Never settle for what you achieve. If you get 2 marks more than your classmate, you may get a self-esteem boost and get over confident, but it will be temporary because it is materialistic and will fade away. So much so that this can also make you the opposite and you start deteriorating.

So it all comes down to this. Remember to try your best, develop your skills, reduce your ego and achieve those limited seats for which everyone aspires for.
So comepete with yourself and become the best version of yourself and in the end you will realize you have surpassed everyone else in the process you can then just lean back and take pride in yourself :)
