How the growth of AI and ML is leading to the growth of RPA developers…

In recent few years, “artificial intelligence” has come to seem like the new path forward. Algorithms, freed from human programmers, are training themselves on massive data sets and producing results that have far reaching effects.
This is a type of “deep learning” that allows machines to process information for themselves on a very sophisticated level, allowing them to perform many complex functions.

This growing influence of AI and ML has led to a boom in the RPA Development and its workforce.
RPA or Robotic process automation is an emerging form of business process automation technology which is used to design, develop and improve the quality of automation based  robots or artificial intelligence (AI) workers.

What is the task behind RPA development?

Traditionally, a tech developer produces a list of actions to automate a task and interface to the back-end system using internal application programming interfaces (APIs) or dedicated scripting language.
But, in the case of RPA systems development, the action is designed by watching the user perform that task in the application's graphical user interface (GUI), and then perform the same by repeating those tasks directly in the GUI. This can lower the barrier to use of automation in products .
To earn fame as a RPA developer, a person must be in possession of certain skills. They are as follows:
1)   They must be having Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills.

2)  Experience with one or more RPA technologies (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) will be very much eeded to progress.

3)  Around 2 to 4 years of professional experience in programming experience (including scripting /coding), SQL and relational databases, and application development.

4)  Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, Problem-Solving, and System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes.

5)  Should be able to Prioritise and manage Multiple Portfolios as there will be multiple workload for an RPA developer to fulfil.

6)  Basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma process methodology.

Lean Six Sigma process methodology

Lean Six Sigma is a method that relies on a collaborative team effort to improve performance on any level.

This process includes the following methodologies:

1) Defects
2) Over-Production
3) Waiting
4) Non-Utilized Talent
5) Transportation
6) Inventory
7) Motion
8) Extra-Processing

The rising demand of RPA certification is opening up a new horizon for the successful RPA project developers.

Recently, Google presented studies showing that its image analysis algorithms are already capable of identifying tumours in breast cancers with 99% accuracy. Also some studies published in prestigious journals confirm that diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms can already be fully interpreted automatically, due to the use of AI. All this has been made possible only due to the advancement in fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Where all do we use these technologies??

•Automated Transportation
Self-driving cars, flying vehicles are now a reality. All these has bee developed by completely depending on AI and ML. Some well-known examples include Tesla, Waymo, Boston Dynamics and many more,

Cyborg Technology
One of the main limitations of AI robots is simply that they have no emotions. But, a company in Japan has a robot companion—one that can understand and feel emotions. Introduced in 2014, “Pepper” the companion robot .the response was so good that all 1,000 initial units sold out within a minute. The robot was perfectly programmed to feel human emotions, develop its own emotions, and help its human friends stay happy.
AI can help people with handicapped limbs, as the brain will be able to communicate with a robotic limb to give the patient more control. This kind of robot technology would significantly reduce the limitations that amputees deal with on a daily basis.

Sophia, a social robot created by former Disney Imaginer David Hanson. Modelled in part, the robot was built to mimic social behaviours and inspire feelings of love and compassion in humans.
According to a study on Sophia's software, deep neural networks let the robot discern someone's emotions from their tone of voice and facial expression and react in kind. Sophia also can mimic people's postures, and her code generates realistic facial movements, as per desired conditions.

What does the future hold??

AI and Robots don’t threaten to enslave humanity, but they do pose a challenge: if software that does the work of humans exists, what will be the future of mankind now?
The only good thing about horrible dictators is that they eventually die. Imagine a Hitler who lives forever? This is what AI machines can do. Will the technological advancement of men  come to haunt the future of humankind in more ways than one. Is AI the final beginning of the end? It can only be known in the time to come.
